Cassandra and Kevin’s Wedding Album Design

Comment, please! :)

This is a preview design for a flush mount (lay flat) 10×10 album. This first spread is the cover of the album. Back cover (left), text on spine of album, followed by full image on front cover (right).

The following images are all two page spreads, left to right, as if they album is open in front of you.

The first spread when opening the album is one of my favorite images – it starts on the left and covers part of the right page.

Cassandra and Kevin – Christmas Eve Wedding

Comment, please! :)

This sweet couple became husband and wife on Christmas Eve. Cassandra and Kevin are a fun, easy going pair and balance each other perfectly. They are both Internet superstars who geek out on a regular basis, but for their wedding they were able to relax and enjoy the gorgeous day. (One of the most beautiful days I think Florida has had all year.) In the photos below, you’ll be able to see that Kevin is more of the wild one and Cassandra is the serious one. ; ) Cassandra has the most beautiful smile (then again, all of my brides always do!) and in many of her photos I can imagine her as a little girl. You can probably spot those right away and you’ll be giggling with joy too. Adorable!

While editing their images, I did many in black in white tones to pull together timeless elements from the day such as the 1966 Ford Mustang convertible. Cassandra and Kevin, thank you so much for choosing me to document your beautiful wedding!

Prepare That Hair! Nuance by Salma Hayek – Orlando Wedding Photographer Tips

I’m always on the lookout for new beauty products – I absolutely love special treatments and makeup. Part of my job is making my clients feel and look beautiful in their photos, so I love to try new things so I can pass the tips on to you! Yesterday I had to go to CVS and stumbled across a new line of beauty products by Salma Hayek called Nuance. I loved the packaging and none of the products were overly expensive. Apparently CVS just released this line with her. (And luckily for me, I didn’t hang around the store long enough to find out there was makeup as well!)

I had to try at least one of those hair products. I picked up the Blackcurrant Intense Hydration Hair Mask. After using it today, I can say it’s one of my new favorite products! My hair went from dry and frizzy to pure silk after leaving it on my hair for 20 minutes. Just take a look at that picture above in the middle, that’s my hair.

I really recommend using this type of product on a monthly basis before your wedding day to ensure that your hair is healthy and smooth. I try to do deep conditioning treatments myself a few times a month. I use a soft bonnet hair dryer and feel like it makes good goo work even better – plus it’s relaxing. : )

Cheers to happy wedding hair!

Charity and Grey Are Married! Orlando Wedding Photographer

Comment, please! :)

How can I begin my post about Charity and Grey? They are pretty indescribable so I have to let my pictures do most of the talking. I can say they are such a unique couple: down to earth, completely in love, forever committed, and adorable as a couple of wiggly little owls perched in a tree of magnolias. Their wedding day was something I looked forward to as soon as I met them. Held in Oviedo at Reformed Theological Seminary, the reception followed outside. The reception reminded me of a Paris market at night, with a Southern flair. Take a look at the bliss captured on their special day.

Before entering the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard practiced their dancing…

And enjoyed the lemonade in Ball jars, served by the caterers who walked over from the tent. What a nice touch!

See how much Charity and her father look alike – it is so cute I can’t get over it!

And then everyone else joined in on the dancing. : )

So is Grey throwing the garter or dancing? You decide! : )

Now you know!

Today was the first day of spring so it was only fitting to take this amazing couple to amazing places – like an organic farm! We had quite the adventure, so this is just a small peek at a few images we captured today. The full session will be up this week. And we’ll explain the vegetables. : )

P.S. Are you seeing something new? This is my new weddings only site which is still under construction. I couldn’t help myself from making the first blog post here. I hope to squeeze in the time to finish it this week and make an official announcement. Being able to capture all of this life, laughter and love wouldn’t be possible without all of you. Thank you so very much!
